I like the robe for modesty purposes with the light colored matching nightgowns. The light colored nightgowns are opaque enough for wearing with one’s immediate family, but if you’re with company the robe can be a welcome additional layer.
The fabric feels silky, lightweight, doesn’t get tangled in one’s legs. If you’re traveling, it’s easy to hand wash and dries quickly.

Still a wonderful feel to the fabric. Would have preferred a smooth zipper in front for quicker on and off. The buttons are small and a little harder to button and unbutton with arthritis in my hands. The long sleeves are nice on chilly mornings.

I weigh 135-140 pounds and am 5’4″ tall. The medium size is perfect – nice and loose and ALMOST touching the floor.

I love a nylon for summer and for packing for travel. I am very grateful Shadowline still makes one. I also appreciate that a robe with buttons or a front buttons is available. However, the robe that came is not Navy; it is a bright blue. The plastic bag said Navy. The photo on-line was much darker. I am keeping it.

These robes are simply exquisite! The material is old world luxurious nylon that is difficult to find these days and the drape is wonderful. I’ve worn these for years and whenever I’ve worn them to restaurants, museums, etc., it’s rare that someone doesn’t want to know where they can purchase them. You get what you pay for and these are definitely worth it.
